New to the site. On a scale from 1 to 10 on my skill level I'm a 5. Important thing is I know to ask questions before tearing into anything that I've never seen. I've been doing some doing some basic maintenance and I'm at the point now where I was going to replace the cap, rotor, wires etc.
Laugh now. Ihttps://www.ranger-forums.com/rf/forum2/images/smilies/laughing.gif can't see any way to remove the distributor cap. It's buried in the rear next to the firewall. Can't lift it straight up because of upper intake interference. I've had to remove/replace caps on a number of different vehicles and never seen one buried so deep. Do I have to remove the upper intake? Any ideas?
