Hi all I have a 94 Ranger Splash edition, Oil pressure, dropped from mid range of normal to low end of scale on the gauge, have r2 oil and filter, engine is running as good as before, no knocks or tapping, is this a pump problem,or indication, any help would be greatly appreciated.

my 99' ranger had the same problem which led me first to believe that my oil pump was going out...when really the only problem was the sensor...an $11 part that solved my problem
