97 ranger 3.0 automatic fluid type?
i am going to change the filter, fluid and gasket on my transmission soon , what type of fluid should i use? it is a 97 ranger 3.0 automatic and has 180K on it.

i have a 2003 automatic it uses mercon V. call the local dealership service department.
