Mine does it when it's wet so maybe there's a little moisture on it somewhere or something.

Gatorback!!!

For a temp fix - remove the belt, and run a metal tooth stiff bristle brush down the valleys of all yoru pulleys, will get any of the crap out of there and help it not squeek or chirp quite as much.

Its the moisture that usually causes this - any ranger engines tends to squeek like a ****.. and most of us fix it by switchign to Gatorback belts - actually, probably 90% of us fix it by wapping to gatorbacks

Went to Autozone today and got a Gatorback and problem solved. Put one on the 00 about 4-5 years ago and it still hasn't chirped a day in its life even after soaking the motor in it to clean it up as well as this one lol. I swear by these things!

I cleaned off my motor today and when i started the truck back up I only had to listen to that squeaking for about 10 seconds. It used to squeak like a MOTHER!

Yeah, youll find its as easy as getting a 1/2 socket end on there and wrenchign it over.. once you get the hang of it, it takes less then 10 seconds to pull the old one off, and about 15-20 to put the new one on =)
