well im finally done a lot of trial and error and grinding away to smooth any imperfections out. (the fit is a bit tight but it doesnt make contact with the alt or alt pulley or even the fan blades) it was a fun project! i was thinking of doing the escape tb swap, what year model escapes are ideal for the swap?

ok if you wanna be technical a Much larger intake tube. and no spare parts after a plumbing job spent like 20 bucks at the home depot. just a project didnt expect to get that sotp feel...

You have the right idea... Wrong materials...

There's a reason intakes are metal... Not plastic.

And people sell used intakes all the time... Used intake is the same thing as a new one.

My K&N FIPK intake tube is black plastic.

Get yourself a K&N filter or something similar and attach it to your tube. Then you will be all set.

 

I was being sarcastic. I had a KN intake but took it off cause it was worthless. didnt add any power and my intake temps are cooler with the stock one.
