Another reason to get parts like that from the dealership. I replaced the coil pack on my 01 last year with a dealership replacment and had no issues. Gotta love autozone and NOT being able to carry proper parts. LMAO
Hope you get it figured out.

I use to go to auto zone all the time but I'm telling ya there dumb as a box of rocks now i order all my parts from summit racing. once i went in there an asked if they could order lake wood traction bars for my ranger an he pulled up a strut tower bar for a import... so i informed him where it goes an what it dose an yet he was clueless so i asked if i could type it in my self an i did i found what i was looking for..it had a picture an all the info but yet they could not order them.. in the computer but can not get them ... it really blows my mind. also once asked for a 8.8 pinion bearing an they gave me a carrier bearing. an i got a present for some one form there an it was wrong so i cussed em an never went back lol

x2. Was just at autozone the other day getting plug wires and they gave me ones that were too short. I guess he thought i had the 4banger. I will probably keep going there to get parts because its convienient, but just always double check before you walk out the door.

Guess I'll have to start doing that. I wonder what the job requirements are for auto zone? should hire people who at least have some smarts around the auto world. but ah well i guess it happens I thought about shopping at NAPA but there kinda expensive

The job requirements can't be to high for auto zone....i always bring the part number in for anything in need from them....i cant trust them to get the right part if i have them look it up.
