maybe its just me but i have had one hell of a time finding a cold air for my truck. everything starts at 98 or are for a 97 4 banger or 4.0. nebody know where i can find something or have any for sale?

ive seen em on ebay now n then but thier around $135 or so n just some no name kit

 

i had to create my own...i spend hours lookin a LOONG time ago and turned up nothin...so fab it up

 

that sucks..my year ranger dosnt make a freaking intake for mine..I wonder why...anyone know the reason behind this?..they make it for a 2.3 but not a 3.0?..
What did you fab it up with ryan? i might have to do this aswell

 

you could always get one of those adapters that let you put a cone filter on the mass air meter, they sell em pretty cheap on ebay all the time, then just fab a heat/ splash shield to go around the filter and you have pretty much the same thing

 

I bought a Volant Cold Air Intake for my 98' 3.0 and it looks good and sounds good...and only for around $150

 

ya ive found so many for the 98 and up but everything else is just the 2.3 or the 4.0, there isnt one for the 97 3.0
