It will help the exaust for sure a little, you are allowing more air than before in, quicker and much easier than before. I have put a Cold Air MAC intake on, Pulleys, and Efan and it sounds a good amount better than before those. I am running a Flowmaster 40 but I would go with a magnaflow or borla if I did it again.

Hope that helps a little..........

Not a link, but that's the set-up I'm running. It changed my mpg's maybe 1 mpg with JUST the intake, but I was getting 3 more mpgs after I had both exhaust and intake on. And since you've got a Flowmaster it should boost your mpgs as soon as you bolt it on.

Not worth the $400 for one. Just go with the cone filter adapters you find in eBay.....and buy a K&N or MAC filter. That nice chrome or black tube isn't worth $300.

I have a MAC filter, adapter, and SS shield....and it sounds great and gets more air in there then the airbox. Only cost me a few bucks too.
