Disconnecting Fuel Lines??
Disconnecting Fuel Lines??
Im tryin to remove my motor from my truck and im having a little problem...HOW do i disconnect the fuel line going to the fuel rail?? Im stumped. Please help thx
Since you won't answer.... lol....
The incoming line off the frame should have a big round chrome thing and a black 'clip' on the engine side. Go to carquest and get one of their Ford/Chrysler fuel/a/c line disconnect tools. The tool pushes into the chrome donut, then push into the donut with the engine side of theline, then pull on both sides of the donut, it should come right off. I used a 4 size tool from carquest that cost a whopping $5 and it worked ALOT better than the 1/2" $15 tool I got from CSK.
Gimme a lil bit to take a pic of the one I used and i'll even take pics of how to use it(without actually disconnecting my system).
Here's the $15 tool from CSK which didn't work as well as the $5 tool from carquest...
