dover heads arrived

Hey guys got the dover heads today,
Question i have is how can i tell when and where thwy were cast.
I also read that 95 & later used beehive style springs with different spring height. Is this true? The dover heads have straight springs.
My truck is an 05 with the vulcan.
Any info is appreciated!

I've got the casting #. They r as follows.
Inside the valvecover area e6ae w/6a26 on the outside on one head,
F6de inside w/7k27 on the other.
After doin some checking, i think the one was cast in'86 while the other cast in'96.
I'm alittle concerned because i heard that pre '95 castings were known for cracking.
I dont want to bolt them on and have issues. This is my dd and once it gets pulled apart im stuck till i finish the job. Plz help, thnx.
