Finally got my hands on a whipple

Hey everyone, I just happened to be cruising RPS and ran across a fellow ranger owner selling a like new whipple for the 3.0. Being back on the forums feels great! I cant wait to give this a shot, should be a nice christmas present. I have been out the loop for a bit, anything I should watch out for during the install?

Cant wait for videos. I just know you cant get to some of the spark plugs with the supercharger on not something you need to know when installing it just remember when you have to replace the sparkplugs its going to suck.

Just replace the plugs when you put on the whipple and you should be good for a while. I can't wait to see what a supercharged 3.0 can do. Oh, and how much was it if you don't mind telling?

If you have an underdrive crank pulley, you need to put the stock pulley one back on.

Lol, I guess I still think like a Ranger owner. I got the blower in yesterday, waiting on the tune from Doug, but I went ahead and put the stock crank pulley back on and changed all the plugs over to Autolite 103s while they were easy to get to. The pulley on the blower has a small dent from shipping thanks to UPS, I had to order a replacement from whipple. I should be installing this weekend, cant wait!

I traded it in for this one. I just cant find a more fitting vehicle for myself than a ranger. This DSG one has 27000 miles on it now, its 2.5 years old, I was going to leave it stock, but this deal came along, just could not pass it up.

some do, but i think most have the kit I do, Explorer Express, for the 4.0L's. The Whipple kit a nice kit. I sold a few of them to Ranger owners and they can last 50,000 miles+ that I know of, probably a whole lot more.
