flex lite fans

I'm changing my belts and I would like to add a flex lite fan. Are they any good? Is there if any horsepower gain? I heard that if your engine is not trying to spin the stock fan, then you may see some gain.

You could always get an e-fan. Their is a lot more information on this site about them over a flex lite fan.

I have had a Flex-a-lite electric fan for a couple of years without problems. It is an S-blade fan and is quieter than most straight blade e-fans.

I've had flex-a-lite on my 66 mustang for about 3 years now, works great.... but I don't know how much better or worse they are over e-fans for the ranger.
