Ranger 3.0L FFV's were produced from 99 through 2003. The 8th character of the VIN for these 3.0L FFV's is "V".
Non-FFV 3.0L Rangers have "U" for the eighth character. All 2004 and newer Rangers are non-FFV, regardless of engine displacement.
