If you go with the flowmaster, then i suggest going with the Delta 40 series like i have.. If you go with dual exits then go with 2" or 2 1/4" max, if you go with single then go 2 1/4 or 2 1/2" max.. It scavenges much better than the super 40 and original 40.. It will give it a more crisp sound and not so high pitched.

Are you doing true duals with 'flowmasters' or just one flowmaster? Some guys have had good luck with the super 40 (I think they are called "Super 44" now), the delta flow will be more mellow like 04BlackFX4 stated, while the original 40 series get's a bit raspy at higher RPM's and drones a lot more.

I like my Super 44, doesn't drone to much and sounds good. All my opinion though

no bwester im just going with a si/do muffler, what size pipe should I use between the cat and the muffler, I want a deep sound but dont want to loose alot of backpressure, therefor less on bottom end, and i know im not gonna get a real deep sound from a v6 so i understand that

You know, I had a pretty deep sound out of my si/do flow 40 and borla proXS but both were dumped (turndown after the muffler). The 3.0L actually has a deeper sound than the 4.0L SOHC, it definitely does not sound like a 5.0 but it sounds pretty good for an OHV V6 if done correct. I think the area before after the cat but before the muffler is a 2.25 but I really don't remember.
