Gas Milage

Im getting around 20 mpg with my 2001 Ford Ranger Edge 3.0 v6 with a manual trans. If I put a 3in spindle lift and 33in BF Goodrich AT's,how will that affect my gas mialge?I dont have anything special besides a flowmaster exhaust, and I do mostly highway miles. Thanks

You may notice it drop with those 3.73's. I had 4.10's w/ 33x12.50's and a 3.0 and I was getting 18 mpg in city. I had intake, exhaust, maf mod, throttle cable mod, and an Xcal tuner.

If it's mostly highway miles i shouldn't change or it might get a little better since the overall diameter of the tire will change the final gear ratio. Which would put your engine at a lower RPM at the same speed with smaller tires.

All I can say is in my 2002 Edge with a 3 inch spindle lift kit I was getting around 11-12 mpg in the City. Which is terrible, so I try not to drive a lot. I recently had my gears switched out and the ratio's played with, and I think that's improved it a little bit but I haven't checked it out yet.
