I get about 215 to a tank...

I'm a getting a k&n soon. Hope that helps a little... .

(It seem that when the gas price goes up my gas mileage goes down)

My B3000 has 4600 miles on it and i get about 200 miles out of one tank and it takes me at least 32 bucks to fill it up every 3 days. I hate my trucks gas mileage. If anyone knows what i can do to get better gas mileage please let me know.

pump your tires up to the maximum pressure
learn to coast more and drive like a granny

trucks suck fuel - about as aerodynamic as pushing a brick through butter

miles per tank tells you absolutely nothing.
Figure your mpg.

Fill up with gas.
fill up again with gas.. try to fill up to same "fullness"
divide miles/gal
do this 2-3 times take total miles/total gal over say 600miles or so.

3.0 normally get around 20mpg in average use. with normal tires.. etc

That stupid Tornado has been proven a scam over and over. Don't waste your money.

That's $33 I presume. This number is going to vary wildly depending on what gas costs for you, obviously. Even the 280/tank is dependant on you. A lot of people here w/ similarly equipped trucks clear close to 300/tank, but I don't. Mostly because I don't have the guts to run it down that far. I usually fill up at or about the 250 mile mark, and that's pushing it in my mind..

Running a gas log and keeping running averages will be the most telling indication of your fuel economy.

gas mileage

I get about 20 mpg but when I take off the tailgate (3 tanks for verification), I get about 22-23. I might buy a toneou cover 'cause that air hitting the inside of the tailgate when I'm on the highway is costing me $4 a tank!

i can squeeze 280 miles out of a tank if i dont floor it alot, also running 4.10s which are terrible for highway cruising, so i realy need some 31's
