Gauge reading empty after changing coil pack and wires
Gauge reading empty after changing coil pack and wires
2004 3.0 4x4 edge 140k miles
new wires, plugs, coil pack
So I’m backing out of my driveway, put it in drive, and the truck starts stumbling. Read codes, misfires on 2 cylinders. Start investigating and pulled cylinder 6 wire from coil pack and it’s corroded. Get a new coil and wires, install everything, messed up order on wires because 2 are swapped, fix wires and the truck runs great.
but now with my hands replacing wires and moving stuff around, and the crossing of wires, my fuel gauge reads zero. Throwing code p0463
what could I have touched ?
thanks, Joe
