getting better gas mileage
well i just got 19 mpg (20 actually but i only went to the first 'click off' on the pump) and thats with about an hour of solid ideling when i was working on fixing my vents and adjusting my thermostat for the efan....
Bone stock Ranger....
16 MPG about 80% highway.
EDIT: This last tank I've used all city driving. I rarely exceed 2,000 RPMS and usually just cruise at 40 MPH. After half a tank i've clocked 105 miles.

I just got 18mpg with 1/2 highway and the other 1/2 city while pulling a trailer and had the a/c on max the whole time and lots of idling with the a/c cranking. Everyone that gets in my truck lately says its like a freezer on four wheels but there is no way I am going to be sweating my *** off if i dont have to I dont care what the price of gas is or how bad my mileage is.
I just got gas last night. Right now I'm averaging 22 miles per gallon. I'd say about 75% highway and 25% city. I have a pretty light foot. Not bad in my opinion, guess having a 5-speed actually helps out. I even have four wheel drive.
