Man...I dunno whats up with it?!?!? Sometimes is idles smooth and accelerates fine and the a few mins later it is missing and sputtering. Then it will smooth back out. I just replace the plugs and wires about a month ago as well as the fuel filter. Does anyone have and Ideas????

 

One injector cost $500????? HOLY HIGH PRICES BATMAN!!!!

Yes the "check Engine light" came on.......I forgot but Autozone has a code reader. I will go down there in the morning!

 

500 is decent for a "tune up" and replacing the injector(s) on any vehicle.

Thats why I do everything I can possibly do myself.

Most shops won't just replace one injector, they will do all of them. Same thing with most other things, they won't just replace one spark plug, they will do em all!!!

 

on 93 I can see the fuel filter needing to be changed, but isn't that something that mechanics put on a list of things to make more money.

I've been told numerous times fuel filters almost never need changing unless something got in your gas tank.

 

Well I went out last night and pulled the Upper Intake manifold so I could get to the injectors on the drivers side. Pulled them all, opened the up and flushed them out. Once doing that and putting it back together, she is running a little better. I an going to go get another fuel filter and change it out tomarrow. I guess I got some real crappy gas somewhere?!?!
