Loud V6 Exhaust?

I want to know what type of exhaust will make a deep, loud, rumble on a V6. I was thinking like glasspacks, flowmasters or dynomax? Any other suggestions an anything specific?

i had a flowmaster 44 SI/DO with 3inch x 21inch tips and it sounded pretty good.. nothing like a V-8, but still sounded good. if your lookin for pretty much pure sound.. i'd go with flowmaster

Personally i like the flowmaster line of mufflers.....the dynomax and gibsons dont sound well to me...id look for it but im lazy, theres a website with sound bites of all the different mufflers on 3.0's and other cars.

Ive got a flowmaster 40 series muffler...single in dual out with 2.5inch tips....sounds real nice and looks awesome as well.

I've never had any of them but from the research i've done the dynomax sounds the best. the rest sound to "pingy" and not deep, unless you remove the cats

Well I don;t want to remove those, because I dont think it will pass inspection and it might mess other things up....I'll look at some flowmasters and Dynpmax real quick. It would be very helpful if someone found some sound clips. Thank ya'll

no turndowns. this is what i did. went to my local autoparts store (not advanced or autozone or anything) bought an oem cat flange to muffler piece, some reducers of i believe 2" to 2.5" and then clamped the muffler in place. thats it. including a muffler was like 100 and some change. sound snice too

Here's a thread with a lot of clips. Three of which (the two that I posted, then the one posted after those) are my truck, 3.0 with flow40

dude im about to get my custom cat back on my v6 and my uncle owns meineke and they sell these things called "flo pro's" or "flowkings" basically they are knockoffs of a flowmaster but on a v6 there is almost no difference in sound as to an actual flowmaster and they cost half as much. flowmaster is always the way to go in my opinion but i say go with one of these cause they sound the same on a v6 and cost half as much as the real thing....a v8 and your in a whole different ballpark though

I had a short Flowtech glasspack with duals after behind each rear tire and 4" tips. Sounded awesome! Loud and a nice deep rumble!

After that exhaust, Flowmaster really just doesn't do it for me anymore as far as sound goes. The louder you try to make them, the rattier they sound (on a V6).
