Hello Ranger Forum,

2004 Mazda B3000 DS 3.0L, 156,000 Miles.

I purchased these new lifters specified for my truck:

Sealed Power HT2205-1 Valve Lifter

My concern is the old lifter oil port size was larger around 1/8th while the new lifters hole size is smaller around 1/16th:



Is this something to be concerned about, or maybe just a settle design difference?

Feedback always appreciated.

 

Hello, just wanted to report back that these lifters worked with no lifter noise and good oil pressure.
