Hey guys i got a gen2 with a 3.0 in it. Ive had it fora few years now back in dec. i had a new motor put in it.(well new to me its from a JY) 73k on it. Any how after ive gotten it back it has not ran right. It ran fine before i blew the head gasket. Now it wont start very well it just cranks and cranks then finally it will start but then for a period of time it wont run well at all it will sometimes act like its missing or just run real bogged down and if you try and give it gas it will choke out. After a while it will smooth out but it still lacks power when attepmting to drive it. Any ideas on what could be wrong.

I have replaced:
Plugs/wires
IAC
MAF

Did you ever find anything out? Have you gotten any codes? Is there fuel, spark, are all the vacuum lines connected again correctly?

Did you check with the people that did the work?

 

Yea... I would check the fuel injectors and vacuum hoses to make sure they are all good... Also check the fuel lines and see if there are any codes to pull.
