Which K&N FIPK?

I was looking over at jusnes modified at their K&N FIPK's and I saw their were 2 for the 3.0. I was wondering what the difference was between,

This one:

And

This one:
http://jusnesmodified.com/store/inde...roducts_id=158

????

Thanks!

You need this one: http://jusnesmodified.com/store/inde...roducts_id=162

It's for 1999-2001 3.0 Rangers. The other one you posted is for 2002-2003 3.0 Rangers.

Nope, there are a few differences between them. The intakes on a 99-2001 have two holes on the intake. One is for the air intake temp sensor and the other for the crank case vent. The 2002 3.0s have the intake temp sensor integrated with the mass air flow sensor thereby only having 1 hole on the intake which is for the crank case vent.

If you were to get the 2002-2003 intake for your 2000, you would have to drill and fab up that extra hole for your air temp sensor...MUCH easier to get the one designed for your truck.
