Intake Alternatives...anyone?

I'm finding that the intake hoses are not street legal in California and negate the emission standards. Anyone know of alternative methods for air that are legal in Cali? This was going to be my first real mod... Thanks!

What? NO! the K&N FIPK is legal in all 50 states! You can buy it and you will love it.

but if you read the disclaimer from K&N it says some thing about the emissions not being legal in CALI and it wont pass inspection... if it were me i would have it pass inspection with the stock air box then reinstall the K&N FIPK every year, its worth that to me, but maybe im crazy

Depends on the style...

Apparently the model number has something to do with the exempt status; there should be no problems with the 57 series. Thanks for the help.
