lookin to chip

i'm lookin to put a lil more power in my truck by possibly chippin it. i know nothing when it comes to performance enhancers (i'm an exterior and lift guy) but i wanna add some power to my ride for those long hill climbs. any suggestions? i kinda want something with a 5 stage option for power, economy, towing, etc......

looks like you have a intake and exhaust set up those are 2 good adders but your best bet is getting a tuner. i have a intake and exhaust and the Xcal 3 its a great product and highly recommend it.

your not gonna find an edge/bullydog monitor with 5 preset options for insane awesome tv e3royalpurplepowersuperhyperchippedblockpower. buy a tuner(xcal3 is nice because you can save the stock tune for smog test), save your money, buy time on a dyno at a shop that knows how to tune with your tuner, enjoy your tune thats actually a proven improvement.

You're probably going to be disappointed even with a tuner.

If you want serious performance, you should consider an engine swap, or a vehicle that already has a V8

agreed, i have a friend with the 3L and we both have equal mods both with XCAL3 and the 4L obviously has the upper hand. I did feel a change a little bit while installing his XCAL3 nothing crazy. only noticleable thing was fuel mileage was slightly increased

Delta Force Tuning (AKA Sniper) makes an 8 position chip for ford vehicles 88-2004. They May be able to hook you up, but you will need to buy the chip and controller seperate, and you will need to check and make sure it will support your box code.
