hello, i have a 1991 3.0L v6 ranger and the oil pressure gauge has been low since i got the truck about 6 months ago. When i changed the fuel filter it went up to the middle of the guage for about a week then went back down to the n on normal where it usually is. Iv been a little bit worried if my engine is going to go in the near future or not so if anyone could tell me it would be greatly appreciated.

 

im not positive, but i thought the oil gauge in the cluster was just either mid way or all the way down, and it doesnt actually read anything.

 

yea thats what i thought too, but i dont get why it would go up like that for awile.

 

my explorer did that for a year then the trany blew up
