misfire that wont go away

misfire that wont go away

somebody help me i have a 99 3.0l with a number six misfire had the truck for about 2 months now and the misfire comes and goes sometimes is really bad and sometimes runs like a champ i changed the plugs and wires but am thinking maybe the coil pack lemme kno if you have the same problem or had the same problem i cant take it anymore

dude i heard you same prblem. read my post on the 3.0 misfire i just updated it so. i'm trying to help you asnd me solve this problem. is so annyoing.

Same motor and same problem. i have done the plugs wires and the coil pack and it still hasn't stopped.

do a compression test, a broken valve spring can come and go.

i think thats what the problem broken valve spring or seal.

im not sure if those year models have these but try the crank sensor or the hall effect sensor i had that problem in my 93 and it was the hall effect

do a head gasket check and if not try your injectors
