mixed rings

i bought a set of federal mogul (sealed power) piston rings.
for my 2002 3.0L and mixed up the comp. rings. which one is 2nd groove ring and naturally that leaves the winner for first.

Abbott: Goofè Dean. Well, let's see, we have on the bags, Who's on first, What's on second, I Don't Know is on third...

Costello: That's what I want to find out.

Abbott: I say Who's on first, What's on second, I Don't Know's on third.

Never take the rings out of the package to admire them. Look on the package it may tell you which ring is which. If not, go to the parts store and ask, of course they won't know and you'll get a blank stare. Go to a Ford dealer or an engine rebuild shop.
