muffler
My 3.0 sounds HORRIBLE like that. Its so raspy and tinny. I am truly embarrassed at how it sounds. I try not to rev it past 2000 so i dont have to hear it and force innocent drivers around me to suffer as well. Just some advice, dont do it.

lol. I think that video is pretty cool with the exhaust blowing into the camera.
The only way to find out what you like is to try it.
If you can weld, or have access to somebody who can weld, then cut it off. If you dont like the way it sounds, then weld it back on there.
I went through at least 4 exhaust setups before I found the setup that I like best.

i have my muffler off with the cats on, it wont through a code for the check engine light but it will reduce hte torque and hp like stated, and i also find it annoying its not for idleing around but if you get above 2000-2500 it just sounds retarded and it drones bad on the highway. probably will be getting a muffler put back on here soon.
It will sound like a louder pissed off bumblebee. Not to mention its illegal to remove your cats and you will get an engine light by doing so. Put a chambered muffler on there if you want deep sound
Put a Flowmaster 40 on it today. Much better.
My uncle told me to do this to my truck and see how it sounds let me tell you it is almost no different from an import civic ricer.. it's bad so I put a flowmaster 40 on yesterday, and problem solved it's just quiet. Glass packs are a better if you want a loud truck
