New Aftermarket or Rebuilt Heads?

Guys,
I'm new here so I hope I'm not asking a common question but if I am sorry I have spent sometime searching but never found my question. I would like to know what you all recommend. New or rebuilt heads? Anyone use the new aftermarket heads? I'm thinking about buying the new heads, I've got a 2005 XLT 3.0 Thanks

I just had my heads resurfaced, as long as they arent cracked they can be resurfaced. If you want better performance look into aftermarket rollers

I'm not really looking for any performance gains just have an exhaust valve thats sticking. I was going to get rebuilt heads but for what I was quoted I can by the new aftermarket heads for a few $$ more. They are advertising that they are new castings, much thicker in all the critical areas. Just wondering if they are really better or if I should just go with rebuilt.

by rebuilt, do you mean, resurfaced?
I'm like Collin, I've ALWAYS had heads resurfaced, even on my nice car. if its just a valve sticking, i'd go to a few machine shops and find someone to re-surface it. I don't know what the price you can get heads for, but i've always found that its been around $100 - $150 a head to get re-surfaced.

I had one head resurfaced for 35 bucks, look around. Unless you dont have a second vehicle to drive while the shops doing the work. Its almost always cheaper to get your heads resurfaced.
