I have never done a new bearing install inside a engine like this so I have a 95 ranger with a 3.0. Did I just ruin my bearing. I was a little rough with putting the cam shaft in I guess or didn't put enough lube on the cam trying make sure it fit the middle bearings. But did I just ruin my new bearings?

 

I also found tiny metal strips next to the bearing so I'm guessing I peeled the edges on the bearings when Installed them
