oil leak in 2.9 EFI

oil leak in 2.9 EFI
Just bought a 1987 ranger and it appears to be leaking oil that is dripping down onto the manifold. both sides of the engine. Valve covers? I hope so.

I would replace the valve covers gaskets first

It is your valve cover gaskets. My BII has the same problem and will be getting fixed when I get home from the Dunes.
