Oil light stays on until engine hits full operating temp, used to do the opposite

Hi, this is actually a followup to a prior thread I posted a little while ago regarding a busted oil light switch. For some reason the forums don't recognize my old username or email for it, so I've had to create another login.

The original thread was regarding my oil light kicking on when the engine hit normal operating temp and then not going off until I had raised the RPMs above about 1-1.2K. I replaced the switch and the issue went away for a few weeks, everything seemed good.

Now, it's developed the exact opposite behavior where the oil light stays on until the engine hits normal operating temp. I've used a mechanical gauge to verify my pressure several times, and it's all good. Constant checks on the oil level show it to be perfect and not losing any short- or long-term.

Anybody know what might be going on? I thought maybe I should do some kind of continuity test on the lead that the switch is on, but I don't know where it should be hooking up to in order to properly test the switch. It's really weird that it completely reversed its behavior after seemingly working normally for a bit.
