Oil pressure gauge question
First post in here but have been reading through past threads looking at similar issues. There are several threads similar but none exactly describing my particular issue. I have an '03 Ranger xlt 3.0 Flex Auto with about 84k miles. I recently had developed a cam sync chirp and had it replaced and aligned as well as changing out the sensor. Now when I have driven around (usually highway) for over 20min when I come to an idle or put it in park, I get a little oil gauge twitch. I know the gauges on these rangers are dummy gauges and should only read halfway or nothing. It only happens at idle after warmed up well (if I drive for 10min warm it doesn't do it....if I turn it off and restart, it doesn't do it). The twitch is fairly slight. It never bottoms out and doesn't go crazy like I've seen some examples of either. Just a couple twitches downward. I plan on taking it in to get the oil pressure switch swapped out next week and maybe have them check pressure when they change it out, but was wondering what you guys thought. Hoping its just a pressure switch since I just bought this truck last year. Thanks!
Edit: I should add that if I weren't watching all my gauges I wouldn't even know this was happening. No noises, no overheating, no rough idle. Runs great just twitching gauge.

I had a problem like that on my 97 3.0 but the oil gauge would twitch just randomly some times and it turned out to be the wire that goes to the oil sending unit, and wasnt making good contact in the connector that goes on top of the oil sending unit.
