Oil pressure sending unit......where?

Well. I haven't bought a manual for my truck yet, so I cannot find where it is. Can someone give me a hand at locating it.

I am having wacky gauge readings.....I think due to pressure washing the motor to blast off dirt.

Just the oil pressure gauge bouncing around at random times. I am pretty sure this is just a bad sending unit. So if someone can help me out and let me know, I would much appriciate it.

I used the search function, but nothing pertaining to the whereabouts was listed.
Thanks guys. -Eric

On your 3.0L, the sending switch is in the block near the rear of the passenger side cylinder head.

Best way to get to it is through the right wheel well. Take off the upper flap -- the rubbery panel the keeps mud out of the engine -- and you'll be able to get to it easily. I have 35's and a lift, so all I have to do is turn the wheel all the way to the left to get in to get at it -- but if you have normal height/wheels then take your right front wheel off as well.
