Power steering pump pulley on backwards

Power steering pump pulley on backwards
I've got a 99 Ford Ranger Sport XLT and had to replace my water pump and power steering pump. Water pump was a pain to get to but power steering pump was a whole mess to deal with. My uncle broke the pulley when he tried to remove it with a hammer instead of a pulley puller like you're supposed to use. So after buying a new pulley, my friends said they could put it on and put the rest of my truck back together. There's a gap between the pulley and the truck now. Why? Because these morons put it on backwards. So here's my problem, how the heck do i get the pulley off again when it's backwards? I'm stuck. Please help.
