pulley kit not understand

On the 3.0 pulley combo, I don't understand how you can get power by decressing the crank pully -20% but change the Alternator Pulley +20%. Wouldn't that just put you back at stock settings?

essentially, before going up or down in diameter for any of the pulleys, these are extremely light weight pulleys designed to make doing their job easier.

My crank pulley has been on a week and I have had no problem with dimming lights or anything for that matter.

Well the alternator isn't direct weight on the crankshaft for one. But you also have to consider that the crank pulley is say 8 inches in diameter and if you reduce that by 20% it's only going to be 6 inches. The alternator pulley is only 2 inches or so and 20% added back onto that is only 2.4 inches. So you're still shedding significant weight in the process and spinning less.
