replacing my brake pads.

One VERY important point that is sometimes overlooked is to get the caliper bolts tight enough on reassembly. Otherwise, they can back out and allow the caliper to swing into the wheel.
Ford recommends replacing the mounting bolts with new ones whenever they are removed. I would at least renew the threadlocker and install with a torque wrench. I don't have a 1997 manual but the 2002 manual says the large mounting bolts are 85 lb-ft and the smaller pin bolts are 24 lb-ft.
I got it, the bolts were a BIIIIIITCH to take off, then I had to use a brake bar ? to snap the calipers off, I used a sea clamp to get them back on,
I stoped half way through because I got so mad, finishing later today, get to drive my dad's f150 around so IM slacking on purpose
