Robbing my truck of hp \ torque...

I recenlty got a custom Magnaflow exhaust put in and the ower of the shop set me up with a 2.5in pipe from the cat-back. The truck runs great but now I'm wondering if 2.5in is too big. My wondering started after I read this post: https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...ad.php?t=46663

Did I go too big for a SI\SO setup?

Most of us 3.0s run 2.25" while the 4.0s run 2.5". With it being a SI/SO it shouldnt hurt you running a 2.5" on a 3.0, so i wouldnt worry

Yeah, that's what the shop owner told me as well. Just wanted to make sure I'm not robbing my truck of power \ torque.
