i am ready to install my oil pump and cant find any info regarding a gasket or sealant for the pump to main cap surface. my gasket sets do not have one. and haynes manual doesnt mention anything other than bolt and torque it. should i use sealant ?

EDIT: I dont think there is a sealer isnt the oil pump in the oil pan? If thats the case wouldnt you just need to seal the oil pan?

If not I would think Loctite RTV 598 Black Silicone Gasket Maker
