valve replacement

hello...i have a 2000 ext cab ranger with the 3.0 flex fuel. after doing a leak down test i have determined the #6 cylinders exhaust valve is toast. my question is...Is it ok to do the valves on one head and not the other? or should i replace both sides? or just the valve i know that needs replacing?

For the time and labor involved taking an engine apart, and just rebuilding part of a cylinder head wouldn't it make more sense to just install a re-manufactured cylinder head? It might cost more, but if you plan on keeping the truck for awhile it will pay out in the long run...
