synthetic oil, bbk throttle body

synthetic oil, bbk throttle body

hey guys im new here and looking for some advice on a couple things im looking at changing the oil over to mobile one or Q horsepower for a lil bit added umph. im also looking at a bbk throttle body for it and an afe airbox. all opinions are welcome. ive got the 3liter yall take care

You have just started the great oil battle.

Synthetic has no real advantages to it, except you can run it abit longer. You cna switch back and forth as much as you want.

As for the throttle body and the afe air box, its just gonna make it sound cool. Our trucks already have a cold air intake, and all the airflow they could ever want and then some.

There isnt a BBK TB for us 3.0 guys... apparently there used to be but they stopped production like the whipple :(

if you change to mobil 1 go with extended perf. they had to take wear protectors out of m1 a couple years back

I think you're wrong man. If there is no real advantage to using synthetic oil, then why do they use synthetic motor oil in jet engines? An obvious advantage.
