Technical 3.0 Flex Fuel ? Compatibilty ?

I have a 2000 3.0 flexfuel'd ranger needing an engine. i was wondering if the long block are the same as non-flexfuel'd 3.0's . what is different as far as the mechanical aspect ? what im asking is if i had another 3.0 ,will the f.f. specific components bolt up to the non f.f. long block ? what specific components /sensors differentiate from gas models ?
