I have a 2002 Ford Ranger Edge, 3.0L I know little to nothing about the mechanics of vehicle brakes. I just acquired a 2002 Ford Ranger Edge, 3.0L V6. It is now time to concentrate on the brakes on this cute little truck. The problem I have now is that I don't know what size drums are on the rear, 9" or 10", so I can purchase the necessary parts. For physical/health reasons, I am incapable of crawling under the truck to measure, so I was wondering if there is some source of help to find this information out, since there is nothing listed in the owner's manual regarding this.

 

9" usually has fins



10" usaully has no fins


All drums have the diameter stamped on the outer edge
