Problem with water pump removal/replacement

Hey there, and thank you for reading this post.

I am replacing the water pump and fan clutch assembly on my 2007 Ranger 3.0 v6. The issue I am having is that it is difficult for me to access the two rightmost bolts of the water pump as there is something in front of them.

I am not sure what it is called--Please forgive me, but I'm just an amateur.--but it is the metal block (or whatever) that the AC compressor sits on top of. It has some pulleys attached and such.

I've removed a few bolts from this block, but the thing just won't move. I must be missing a bolt, but I can't find it.

Thing is, I have replaced water pumps on other vehicles. It is a standard job. I just can't seem to get the remaining boths off because of something being in front of them.

I made a reddit post about it and someone DM'ed me to post here. This is the original reddit post: https://old.reddit.com/r/autorepair/...ump_on_a_2007/

It has some photos in it. I have been unable to find a good online video of water pump replacement for this particular Ranger engine.

Please help if you can!

Welcome to the forum

Yes, the AC compressor bracket needs to be moved out of the way

Google: 1994 Ford Ranger 3.0 liter engine water pump replacement

Video will have what bolts to loosen and remove on that bracket
5 bolts total I believe, 3 on the front and 2 on the side
