Two little boxes near starter relay 1993 3.0 Ranger
What are these little boxes (photo attached)? The black cylinder on the upper left is a Rostra cruise control installed a few years ago. The arrowed wire on the right little box gets current from the starter relay on the right. Photo taken with a 20-year old digital camera,Konica Minolta Z10.
Ranger 480 you are right! They are circuit breakers for an installed Tekonsha Voyager brake controller. I don't tow trailers so will leave the installation in place. Removed the trailer hitch because it scrapped pavement on steep driveways. All this was a side effect of my campaign to replace vacuum hoses, the canister purge valve, and clean the MAF.
