i had a cylinder 6 misfire code forever, i replaced everything, and the truck kept running rough so i just finally parked it for months and the other day i started messing with it and broke it down and pulled the heads, and on cylinder 6 the valve was black.... is that the problem? do i need to get a new head?

 

IT is more likely it just has a burt valve just replace the valve
