Icon5 Wanting a bull bar, looking at this....

Hey all, I am bound and determined to get a bull bar for my ranger. I also signed up to be notified for the resurected WAAG bars, but I'm not sure If i'll get the money in time.

So this is a bar I've been looking at, only problem is it says it will fit a 01+ ranger. Will this thing fit my 99 with minor modification or is it not even worth trying? I really like this bar and would get it if the WAAG fell through.

What do ya'll think??

That thing looks sick! I was thinking about getting one of those too... Where does it mount up to exactly? I'm not too sure about it fitting onto the 99 though..

I don't see why it'd fit an 01+ and not a 1999. 1998-2000 is one generation and is right below the 01+. Would it be I guess the holes already there in the frame? I dunno.

Does anyone else know?

The frame horns are different. You could get it to fit but you would need to mod it a little.

Just called the place and he said, it won't be a direct bolt on, which I kinda figured. He said the brackets holding it on would have to be welded to the frame or holes drilled in the frame.

My question is now how hard would it be to drill holes into the frame??
