Water pump bolt
 

2000 3.0 gas
I broke the head off a water pump bolt and need some advice. It’s hard to reach, of course. In the close up pic, what am I seeing? It looks like the hole is chamfered or something.

Personally not had hands on this 3.0L WaterPump, so dumb question:
is that a BrokenBolt or just a Mounting\AlignmentStud?

that’s what I was wondering, but it had a head on it and I can’t find any stud mentioned anywhere.

If you broke bolt head off yourself & hole goes fully thru Pump flange, then definitely broken bolt.
I'd first try soaking with PenetratingOil for an hour,
then a few "love taps" with a BallPeenHammer & ViceGrips,
then torch heat & again Hammer+Grips,
then DrillBits+ReverseRemoval bits as a last resort.
Not fun & a lot of choice cuss words.
