Ok i got a 02 with the 3.0L. Gonna build her up. No engine swap or anything this is the truck and motor i want to use. Extended cab and 4.10 gears in the rear. I am running 31X10.5X15 tires as well. What should i do to fuel her up?
I have a K&N replacement filter but not an intake so thats on the list but what kind do i get? Are there cams to be had and is taht something i can do or is that something i need to take it to the stearlship for? what about headers and intake maifold? Let me put it like this, If it were your truck and you were gonna build it up with the best **** aor the best bang for the buck what would u do? I do tow my drag quad and other trailers quite a bit and i still want the thing to be realiable so no NOS and i dont want forced induction but other than that everything else is fair game.

-MAC intake (best bang for buck IMO)
-JBA (or Gibson, whichever) headers
-Bamachips XCAL2 tuner
-Roller rockers from Underdog Performance
-Underdrive pulley set from Underdog Performance
-Screamin Demon coil pack w/upgraded wires

 

+upper aluminum (ported) intake
escape TB

 

Get a 4.0 or 5.0 haha.

 

what is an underdrive pulley and what does it do?

 

It slows down the accessories so you don't use as much power to turn them. Which inturn gives you more power to the pavement.
